The BI Voter Forum (BIVF) is a citizen co-op built to give registered Island voters a dedicated place to learn about, discuss and regularly register their opinions on pressing issues such as water sustainability, public land development, affordable housing, missing services, road improvements, etc.
The ‘Value Proposition’ of this voter co-op is simple: Join with your fellow Island voters to generate a Collective Citizen Voice that will be heard loud and clear by elected representatives at every level of local government.
So, how does BIVF provide its members this ‘Lobby Power’ at the City, County or State level?
BIVF verifies each joining member’s status as a ‘real’ Registered Voter who resides in a particular Island Precinct.
BIVF equips each verified Island voter with an encrypted Precinct PIN that enables anonymous participation in Polls and Petitions.
BIVF delivers Poll Results and Petition Endorsements to elected officials as forensically auditable data - all input is immutable and accurate at the Precinct Level while fully protecting Voter Anonymity.
The more Islanders who join BIVF the more influential our collective ‘Lobby Power’ will be. Imagine the difference thousands of BIVF-amplified voices might make in shaping how the new City Manager and City Council determine COBI’s future.
